试说消极修辞观

On Passive Rhetoric

当下,哲学社会科学文献语言表述中存在一些不符合消极修辞的现象:1)提出或使用了不少新概念,但有些重要概念内涵不清楚,外延不明确;2)提出或使用了不少新观点,但有的重要观点意义不清楚,有的未经详细论证,是否正确值得推敲;3)有的文章空洞、冗长,逻辑不清楚,层次不清楚,观点不清楚;4)使用不必要甚至不准确的修饰;5)出现"吓尿体""标题党"等现象。解决上述问题需要普及消极修辞知识,更需要树立消极修辞观。本文认为,消极修辞不仅仅是一种修辞方法,也是一种现代观念,具体表现为无为观、平实观、简约观和规范观。最后,以语言政策研究为例,从选题、研究过程、报告撰写三方面阐述了政策研究需要树立消极修辞观。

Presently,there are some phenomena that do not accord with passive rhetoric in philosophy and social science research.First,the connotations and denotations of some of the newly put forward or used concepts are not clear.Second,some of the newly put forward or used viewpoints are not clear,and the others are not argued in detail.Third,some articles are empty,long,illogical or unclear.Fourth,some modifications are unnecessarily or inaccurately used.And fifth,the phenomena such as the Scaring Urine Style or Title Party and so on occur constantly.To solve the above problems,it is necessary to popularize the knowledge of passive rhetoric and to set up the view of passive rhetoric.This paper holds that passive rhetoric is not only a rhetorical device,but also a modern concept,which is embodied in the view of inaction,fairness,simplicity and norms.Finally,taking language policy research as an example,the paper expounds the necessity of passive rhetoric in policy research from the following three aspects as topic selection,research process and report writing.
