学科知识是专业的内核,2011年3月8日,国务院学位委员会和教育部批准在法学门类下增列公安学一级学科,公安教育科研工作进入了新阶段。公安学的学科体系由基础学科、专业学科及边缘学科构成。在公安院校里,公安学是治安管理学、刑事侦查学等后修公安业务课程的基础性理论学科,与政治学、社会学、法学、行政学、管理学等相邻学科具有密切的关系。构建公安学的学科体系,可以培养学生的人民警察意识,使他们正确、全面把握公安工作,为学好其他公安业务课程打下良好的基础。
