文章通过对习近平给国家图书馆专家的回信内容的分析,对公共图书馆“传承文明、服务社会”三大功能进行了再认识,即对公共图书馆作为文化重要标志的再认识、对公共图书馆作为文化重要场所的再认识、对公共图书馆作为文化创新载体的再认识,指出这对谋划“十四五”期间公共图书馆的进一步创新发展将提供思想和理论的准备。

Based on the analysis of Xi Jinping’s reply to the experts of the National Library,this paper reunderstands the three functions of the public library to inherit civilization and serve the society,that is,to re-recognize the importance of the public library as an important symbol of culture,to re-recognize the importance of the public library as an important cultural site,and to re-recognize the public library as a carrier of cultural innovation,pointing out that the further innovation and development of Public Libraries during the Fourth Five-Year Plan period will provide ideological and theoretical preparation.
