作为东南亚回族作家的代表,刘宝军以书写具有民族性的文化散文见长。他长期关注海外的回族移民特别是跨国而居的中亚东干人,并在纪实性散文中表现出东干人对中华民族的认同感,以此折射出移民作家与移民群体的寻乡意识与家园意识。将刘宝军的东干表达置于更广阔的“一带一路”文化维度中,使东干文化“异国同源”的特点呈现出文明共生共融的历史气魄。

As a representative of Hui writers in Southeast Asia,Liu Baojun is good at writing cultural prose with national characteristics.His focus has been on Hui immigrants abroad for a long time,especially the transnational Donggan people living in Central Asia.Liu Baojun's documentary prose shows the sense of Chinese identity of Donggan people,which reflects the consciousness of home and home-seeking of immigrant writers and other immigrant groups.Seen from the cultural perspective of the Belt and Road,Liu Bao-jun's"Donggan"expression reflects the historical spirit of the co-existence and integration of civilizations.
