In this paper, the research situation of harvest technology and equipment at home and abroad was summarized according to the mechanical harvest leafy vegetables varieties classification expounds the leafy vegetables. Suggestions on the leafy vegetable harvest mechanization technology and equipment development were put forward. The future development direction of the leafy vegetables harvest mechanization technology and equipment was pointed out such as low loss, high efficiency gains, harvest in order, harvest with hills, diversified production with mechanized equipment.
