One of the most remarkable features of Stefan·Zweig's novels is passion in the protagonists'hearts,due to which this paper aims to explore the specific reasons why Zweig's various characters have these passions and find out the external reasons and personal factors for which Zweig attaches so much importance to"passion"in his literary creation through an analysis of Zweig's life experience,personality characteristics and the background of his times.
