The works of Haruki Murakami,a contemporary Japanese writer, provide a good model for integration of literature and music, which seem like a great tree of literature growing on the soil of music.Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage, with the famous piano music Annees de Pelerinage by Liszt flowing through the whole work, not only expresses the author's longing and yearning for idyllic scenery and pure youth friendship, but also rouses people's consideration to life.Besides,it reveals that though there may be pains in youth, they are also precious things to be treasured in life, and that we should have the courage to face up to ourselves and embrace the future.Additionally, music is the soul of Murakami's works.
