毛泽东长期领导中国人民革命和建设,从自主与解放两面推进人民民主事业。自主是人民民主实现的根本,体现在人民民主的整体、部分、个体三个层面,决定着人民民主建设和发展的质量与成效;解放是人民民主实现的前提,从政治、社会、思想三个维度,不断消灭人民民主生成和发展的阻力和障碍。自主与解放同等重要、不可或缺,两者贯穿毛泽东整个民主思想和事业,诠释了人民民主发展的基本规律。新时代坚持和拓展人民民主道路,必须牢牢把握自主与解放两面,忠实继承和践行毛泽东人民民主思想的精髓。

Mao Zedong Leads Chinese People revolution and construction,and promotes people’s democracy from the two sides of autonomy and emancipation.Autonomy is the essence to the realization of people’s democracy,and embodies the three aspects of the whole,part and individual,and it determines the quality and effects of its construction and development.Emancipation is the prerequisite for the realization of people’s democracy,which from the three dimensions of politics,society and ideology,eliminates constantly the resistance and obstacles to its re-generation and development.Autonomy and emancipation is of equal importance and indispensability,both runs through Mao Zedong’s democracy thought and cause,and explains the basic law of people’s democracy development.Adhering to and expanding the people’s democracy road in the new era,we must unswervingly implement independence and liberation in people’s democratic both sides,and faithfully inherit and practice the essence of Mao Zedong’s people’s democracy thought.
