Time and Space Travel: Cultural Adaptation in Poverty Alleviation Relocation

易地扶贫搬迁不是简单的地理移动,而是文化遭遇的过程,凸显出移民的文化适应问题。论文基于对贵州麻山易地扶贫搬迁个案的田野考察,试图从时间观和空间感两个方面呈现移民在搬迁过程中遭遇的文化不适以及文化适应的努力,认为移民的主体性和决策者的文化敏感性在此过程中必须得到高度重视和强调。

Poverty alleviation relocation is not a simple geographical move, but a process of cultural encounter,highlighting the problem of cultural adaptation of immigrants. Based on the fieldwork of the case of poverty alleviation relocation in Mashan, Guizhou Province, this paper attempts to present the cultural inadptation and adapting efforts of the migrants in the process of relocation from the perspectives of time and space, and points out that the subjectivity of the migrants and the cultural sensitivity of the decision makers must be highly valued and emphasized in the process.
