On the Ways of Reform in Public English Education of Vocational Colleges against the Background of "the Belt and Road Initiative"

"一带一路"倡议的实施促进了国际沟通和联系,同时给我国的英语人才培养提出了更高的要求。高等职业院校应深化公共英语教学改革,明确教学目标,创新教学模式,加强师资队伍建设,全面提升教学质量,为"一带一路"建设培养出更多具有较高英语水平和专业素养的复合型人才。

Because of "the Belt and Road Initiative",China has played an increasingly important role in the international economic order.Its communication with other countries has become closer. "the Belt and Road" asks for higher standards in English talents cultivation of vocational colleges.This thesis explores the ways of reformation in the aspects of teaching objectives,teaching models and teaching team construction in public English education of vocational colleges,with the aim of comprehensive improvement in the quality of talents cultivation.The ultimate goal is to cultivate more compound talents with high English abilities and professional qualities for the implementation of "the Belt and Road".
