Cold Season Turf in Landscape of Beijing Area and Measures of Maintenance and Management

This paper introduced the common turf grass species in Beijing,the main measures of maintenance and management for cold season turf in the Beijing landscape were reviewed,such as turf punch,sparse grass,irrigation,fertilization,pruning and removing weeds,etc.The occurrence,symptom,pathogen,occurrence regularity and control measures of common turf diseases in Beijing area were elaborated in detail,in order to ensure the healthy growth of lawn grasses in Beijing,provide a scientific basis for the rapid diagnosis,prevention and treatment of the diseases,and provide the basic data for further in-depth study of the management measures of cold season turf.
