TV series The Thunder was widely praised among public after broadcast.From the perspective of H.P.Grice's Cooperative Principle,this paper analyzes Cai Yong-qiang's general and special conversational implicature from positive and negative aspects,and explores the speaker's communicative intention and implied meaning by taking the conversations between Cai Yong-qiang and Li Wei-min in episodes 17 and 18 of the play as the text.
