摘要
教育是减少贫困的重要手段,教育发展有助于提高私人回报和社会回报,因此贫困与教育的关系一直是学界持续关注的焦点。本文对影响贫困家庭子女受教育程度的研究进展进行了梳理、归纳和分析,首先介绍了贫困家庭人口特征和家庭经济因素对子女受教育程度产生的影响;然后阐释了公共政策、教育成本和助学制度等政策因素对贫困家庭子女受教育程度的重要作用;同时指出了社区因素中同伴和邻居的示范效应,社区环境和资源的变化对贫困家庭子女受教育程度的重要性;最后对后续相关研究进行了展望。
Education is an important approach to reducing poverty.The development of education can increase private and social returns.Therefore,studying the relationship between poverty and education has received sustained attention from academia.This paper summarizes and analyzes the research progress on the determinants of the education level of children from poor families.This article firstly examines the impact of demographic characteristics and economic conditions of poor families on children's educational level.Secondly,it analyzes the effect of policy factors such as public policy,educational costs and the financial aid system,on children's educational level.Thirdly,it highlights the role of peers and neighbors as well as changes in environment and resources of local communities in affecting children'educational level.Finally,it looks forward to the related research directions.
