世界各国废纸利用情况差异较大。中国、美国、日本、德国、韩国、意大利、印度、墨西哥、法国和印度尼西亚等国是世界废纸消费量排名前10国家。中国是世界最大的废纸回收国、进口国和消费国,美国是最大的废纸出口国和仅次于中国的废纸消费国。美国的废纸利用量随着纸和纸板产量的下降而减少;日本和德国废纸利用量并未因纸和纸板产量的下降而减少。韩国是新兴发达国家,对废纸的消耗需求持续增加。德国和韩国废纸利用率最高,达到70%以上。

The utilization of waste paper varies greatly from country to country.China,United States,Japan,Germany,South Korea,Italy,India,Mexico,France and Indonesia are among the top 10 countries in the world for waste paper consumption.China is the world's largest recycling country,importer and consumer,and the United States is the largest exporter of waste paper and second largest waste consumer only after China.Demand for waste paper in the United States has declined as paper and cardboard production has declined,while Japan and Germany have not used less paper and cardboard.South Korea is an emerging developed country,and its waste paper demand continues to increase.Germany and South Korea have the highest utilization rates,reaching more than 70%.By the end of 2020,China’s total domestic consumption of paper and cardboard is expected to reach 111 million tons,when the maximum domestic paper and cardboard can be recycled about 64 million tons,the actual recovery volume is forecast to be 58 million tons,fiber raw material supply gap of 20 million tons.The shortage of fiber raw materials will become a major obstacle to the development of corrugated paper enterprises,with independent recycling channels or raw material replacement process of paper enterprises advantages will be shown.
