70多年来,关于苏舜钦的生平和其作品集的编纂、校勘、辑佚等研究论著已相对完备,很难做出开创性的成果。关于苏舜钦作品的研究主要集中在诗歌领域,成果也最多。苏舜钦仅有1首词流传下来,其书法也只有寥寥几幅,这决定了其相关研究无法全面而深入地展开。相比之下,苏舜钦留下的散文较多,可是研究成果较少,还有相当大的研究余地。关于苏舜钦的文学思想,虽然陆续出过少量研究成果,但无论从宏观上还是微观上来看,力度明显不够,很有必要进一步深入挖掘。此外,文本研究进一步精细,新的研究方法和理论不断应用,也为其研究提供了广阔前景。
