Evolution of International Law and Fusion of Civilizations from the Perspective of the Community with a Shared Future for Mankind

国际法建立在欧洲文明基础之上,作为欧洲区域法诞生,且与其他非欧洲文明的国际法律规则并存。随着欧洲国家的武力和殖民扩展,欧洲的国际法扩展到全世界,其他文明的国际法律规则随之消亡。20世纪后国际法的主权及平等原则在全球得到真正体现,普适性要素不断增加,成为全世界都能接受的唯一国际法律规则,国际法共同体也成为人类命运共同体的重要组成部分。尽管出现了源于美国的弱化国际法的动向,中国和其他各国仍会维护国际法共同体,促进文明交流和包容互鉴,推动人类命运共同体的构建。

International law,which has its roots in European civilization,was born as a European regional law.It coexists with other international legal systems of non-European civilizations.With the military power and colonial expansion of European countries,European international law spread across the world,and the international legal rules of other civilizations disappeared.Since the 20th century,the principles of sovereignty and equality of international law have found genuine manifestations around the world,and the elements of universality have grown;as a result,international law has become the only set of international legal rules acceptable to the whole world,and the community of international law has emerged as an integral part of the community with a shared future for mankind.Despite the U.S.attempts to weaken international law,China and other countries will continue striving to maintain the community of international law,promote the exchange and fusion of civilizations,and advance the building of the community with a shared future for mankind.
