From Feeling to Meaning:The Socio-cultural Nature of Pain

疼痛不仅是生理层面的感觉与体验,还具有“情绪”层面的意义,它是生物因素和社会文化因素的结合体。它存在于具有不同文化背景、不同社会空间,具有不同生活经验、拥有不同痛苦感受能力个体的身上,不同的历史时期饱含着对疼痛的不同价值取向及意义的建构。面对疼痛社会与文化话语体系的长期缺失,对其从整体观、文化相对论等人类学视角出发,对疼痛的公开表达、意义建构及主体叙事方面进行剖析与探讨,不仅可以加深对疼痛本质的认识与理解,也是彰显生命伦理的重要方式。

Pain is not only a physiological feeling and experience,but also has"emotional"meaning.It is a combination of biological factors and social and cultural factors.It exists in individuals with different cultural backgrounds,different social spaces,different life experiences and different pain feelings.Different historical periods are full of different value orientation and meaning construction of pain.In the face of the long-term absence of social and cultural discourse system of pain,from the perspective of holistic view,cultural relativity and other anthropological perspectives,the public expression,meaning construction and subject narrative of pain are analyzed and discussed,which can not only deepen the understanding of the nature of pain,but also be an important way to highlight the bioethics.
