With the increasingly frequent trade exchanges between China and neighboring countries,the number of inbound and outbound passengers continues to increase.It is urgent and important to provide more convenient and efficient clearance services for the majority of inbound and outbound passengers on the premise of ensuring national security by simplifying clearance procedures,innovating inspection modes and other methods.The United States Customs and Border Protection(CBP),through the application of advanced technology and equipment,conducts immigration inspection abroad through international and bilateral cooperation,and effectively moves the anti-terrorism front to other countries’territory.At the same time,The preclearance allows passengers to go through the formalities of entering the United States only once before boarding the plane,reducing the waiting time.The concept and practice of preclearance are useful for China’s border inspection and custom clearance.
