规范习得还是情境选择:新生代农民工对婚前性行为的态度及形成机制

Learn from Norms or Make Choices in Living Situation: The New Generation of Migrant Workers’ Attitude toward Premarital Sex and its Formation Mechanism

研究利用全国范围内的大规模抽样调查数据就新生代农民工对婚前性行为的态度及形成机制展开了分析。研究发现,尽管性的“双重标准”依旧存在,但总体上而言新生代农民工对婚前性行为的态度呈现出“去传统化”的趋势。规范习得机制和情境选择机制假设得到了部分验证:一方面新生代农民工主要从大众传媒及同辈群体处获取性知识,受传统性社会化的影响有限;另一方面生命历程中不和谐的家庭氛围和恋爱经历会提升他们对婚前性行为的容忍度。研究还表明在社会急剧变迁的当下,新生代农民工在获得更多私人生活自主性的同时,也会利用“拼凑”的规则以既有的社会规范和思考方式去应对具体的情境,凸显了社会制度、文化规范与个体生命历程交织与互构下的相对主义的性价值观。

This study analyzes the new generation of migrant workers’attitude toward premarital sex and its formation mechanism using the data from a large-scale sample survey in China.The result shows that the“sexual double standard”still exists in the large context of detraditionalisation.Based on social learning theory and life courses theory,three hypotheses are developed and examined.The new generation of migrant workers mainly obtained sexual knowledge from the media and peer groups with limited impact from traditional socialization channels.The disharmonious family atmosphere and love experiences in life course enhanced their acceptance of premarital sex.They took a patchwork approach to accommodating specific sexual situations in their own changing life courses based on existing social norms.The research highlights the complexity in the formation of sexual attitude as the social system,cultural norms,and individual life courses interact with each other.
