摘要 无线信道衰落是通信理论教学中的重要内容。针对通信类课程中随机信道知识较为抽象、传统教学方法难以理解的问题,基于现场可编程逻辑阵列(Field-Programmable Gate Array,FPGA)为核心的硬件平台开发了实时模拟、观测各种信道衰落和噪声的实验系统。学生通过该实验系统可直观感受信道对传输信号产生的失真影响,有利于其理解无线信道随机理论。学生通过硬件动手操作和FPGA编程调试,有效增强了工程实践能力与创新能力。 Wireless channel fading is an important part of communication theory teaching. Thetheory of random channels in the communication course is abstract and it’s very difficult to understand by traditional teaching methods. Based on the field programmable gate array-based(FPGA) hardware platform, an experimental system for real-time generation and observation of various channel fading and noise is developed. With this experimental system, students can observe the distortion of the channel on the transmitting signals. It’s very helpful for them to understand the stochastic theory of wireless channels. Students also can improve their engineering practice and creative ability during theprocess of hardware operation and FPGA programming.
