Students and Dean

美国一所大学里的四个学生讨厌学习,他们在考试前一整晚都在聚会,并打算对教授撒谎以便逃过考试。第二天,他们去见院长,对他说:“我们昨晚去参加了一个婚礼,在我们回来的路上,车胎爆了,我们不得不把车一路推回去。哦!我们没有备胎,所以没有时间和机会参加考试。”院长听了点点头,然后说:“好,我再给你们一次机会,明天你们得参加考试。”

Four students in a university in USA hated studying.They had a party all night before their exams and planned to skip1 the test by lying to the professor.The next day,they went to the dean and told him,“We went to a wedding last night.On our way back,we had a flat tire.We had to push the car all the way back.Oh!We didn’t have a spare tire.So we had no time and chance to take the exam.”The dean listened and nodded his head.Then he said,“OK!I give you another chance.You will have to take a test tomorrow.”
