Follow The Times to Update: The Origin and Characteristics of Ancient Eaves Tiles in Shanxi

瓦当作为瓦的附属物,以实用兴起并广泛流行,伴随历代建筑的发展沿革,其流行与演变轨迹具有明显的时代特征。本文根据历年来在陕西境内考古发现数量众多的瓦当实物资料,结合考古地层学与类型学原理和方法,梳理陕西古代瓦当各期特点与时代特征,总结陕西古代瓦当动态变化中所蕴含的社会因素与人文背景。

As an appendage of the tile,the"Eaves Tile"became popular because of its utility.With the development of the architecture,the Eaves Tile’s development has the obvious characteristics of the times.Based on the large number of archaeological discoveries in Shaanxi over the years,combined with the principles and methods of archeological stratigraphy and typology,this paper sorts out the characteristics of different periods and times of ancient Eaves Tiles in Shaanxi,and summarizes the social factors and cultural background contained in the changes of ancient Eaves Tiles.
