Eulogize China with My Poems

还记得刚上高中时,我开始规划将来的人生,感觉仅仅掌握英语这一门外语是不够的,在了解世界文化的过程中,我时常感到吃力和困惑。于是,我找父亲聊天,希望能在他的建议下做出新的抉择。他分析了世界形势,说中国既是一个源远流长的文明古国,又在日新月异地蓬勃发展。也许还有我们一家都喜欢中国功夫片、李小龙的缘故,他建议我去学习中文。

I still remember that in the early beginning of my high school,I began to plan my future life.I felt it is not enough to master English,my first and only foreign language.I came across many difficulties and confusions in the process of learning about the world culture,so I talked to my father,hop?ing to make a new choice with his advice.After an analysis of the world situation,he told me that China is a country with an ancient civilization and long history,and is developing rapidly with each passing day.My families all love Chinese martial arts films and Bruce lee.Probably because of this,he finally suggested me learn Chinese.
