中国有句话:从一片落叶看见一个秋天。我开始写这篇文章时,中国正值立秋,而柬埔寨是雨季。有人说,下雨天是最让人怀旧的时候了。六年前,也是差不多这个时候,我获得了孔子学院奖学金,到中国重庆大学攻读汉语国际教育硕士。在离开柬埔寨首都金边前往山城重庆的航班上,我对未来充满了向往,不久前赴中国参加“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛的情景在脑中浮现。不仅是参加比赛,因为“汉语桥”,我有机会参观故宫博物院,爬长城,拜访孔子学院总部,登岳阳楼……参加“汉语桥”回来后,我便下定决心报考HSK5级,申请孔子学院奖学金。

As a Chinese saying goes,one fulling leaf is indicative of tlie!coming of autumn.When I started writing this article,it was autumn in China,and the rainy season in Cambodia.Some say that rainy days are for reminiscences.Six years ago,almost at this season,I won the Confucius Institute Scholarship and went to Chongqing University in China for a master's degree in leaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languag-;es(MTCSOL).I was full of hopes for the Rtture on the flight from Phnom Penh,the capital of Cambodia to the mountain city Chongqing,during which my recent trip to China for the"Chinese Bridge"Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students rolled over me.The Competition was more than a contest tor me,as it had given me an opportunity to visit the Palace Musemn,tlie Great Wall,the Confucius Institute Headquarters,and Yueyang Tower,etc.After coming back.I decided to register for HSK5 and apply for the Confucius Institute Scholarship.
