摘要
本文从译者兼注释者的视角出发,考察了汤永宽《荒原》译注中的文化形象的强化、改变和增加,运用形象学和文化理论分析了不同形象背后蕴含的译者的知识考古与知识生产、文化价值观和认识态度。研究表明,注释在文化形象建构中是对东西方文学和文化的知识考古与知识生产;在西方文化形象建构过程中,译注对东方文化和西方文化进行了适度的筛选和挪用;注释中的文化形象建构也是译者自我形象的塑形。译注的理念、作用、方法对中国文学"走出去"中的文化形象建构具有逆向的借鉴作用。
From the perspective of the translator and annotator,this study explores the strengthening, alteration and addition of the different cultural images in Tang Yongkuan’ s Chinese translation notes of T. S. Elliot’ s poem The Waste Land. It applies the image study and cultural theories to the analysis of the translator’ s knowledge discovery,knowledge production,cultural values and cognition attitude implied behind the various images. The findings show that the translation notes in cultural construction work as the knowledge discovery and production,the selection and appropriation of the Eastern-Western culture. The cultural image construction is also the translator ’ s self-image construction. The notions,the roles and the methods in his notes will contribute to the reference of the Chinese cultural image construction for the Chinese literature "going globally".
