The mould hardness and the classification and application of hardness meter used for measuring hardness of SYS wet mould were briefly introduced.Actual applications of hardness meter used for the mould were described.The hardness of wet clay mould was measured usually by using the same hardness meter as SYS-B mould.The hardness meter for SYS-C mould was used in high pressure moulding and V-process moulding.
