Experience of LI Suling Treating Primary Liver Cancer

原发性肝癌是临床常见消化道恶性肿瘤之一,属中医学“癥瘕”“积聚”等范畴。李素领教授认为“正气不足、瘀毒蕴结”是本病基本病机,并将中医药与外科手术、射频消融、TACE等现代治疗方法相结合,根据不同治疗后患者体质变化及复发情况,分别采用化瘀解毒、清热解毒、利胆解毒、以毒攻毒及扶正固本等“四攻一补”法,兼顾临床常见的腹水、癌痛、发热、腹泻等并发症。

Primary liver cancer is one of the common malignancies of digestive tract.It falls into the categories of“Zhengjia”and“Jiju”in TCM.Professor LI Suling believes that lacking of sufficient vital-qi with the accumulation of toxins is the basic pathogenesis of the disease,and he combines Chinese medicine with modern science,such as surgery,radiofrequency ablation and TACE.According to the physical changes after different treatment and according to the recurrence,the treatment methods of resolving stasis to remove toxin,clearing heat to remove toxin,activating gallbladder to remove toxin and counteracting one poison with another,as well as the therapy of supporting the healthy energy were used by professor LI Suling.At the same time,the complications,such as ascites,cancer pain,fever and diarrhoea,were paid close attention to.
