Azerbaijan is known as the "Pearl of the Caspian Sea"and is a"crossroad"in Eastern Europe and West Asia.The word Azerbaijan means"a country of fire"in Arabic.It is a country that combines classical and fashion charm.Its capital Baku is Known as"Little Dubai."It is one of the former Soviet Union Federal Republics and the first successful pariiamentary democracy in the Islamic world(earlier than the Republic of Turkey).It is also the first country in the Muslim world to grant women the right to vote and equal political rights.
