The Lyric Art of Mei Yaochen’s Poetry

梅尧臣是宋代诗歌的开山祖师,无论是其诗风、题材还是诗学理论都别具一格,开创了有别于唐诗的宋诗风貌。其诗歌对于情感的表达亦独具一格:在抒情方式上,或借叙事,或凭咏物,或藉写景,舒缓浓淡,手法多样,平凡却真挚。在抒情特色上,梅诗寓情于白描,抒情中多夹杂议论,常借“梦”来抒情。梅诗抒情手法多样且有与以往诗歌不同的抒情特点:对平淡的自觉追求,对“风雅美刺”传统的继承以及由情入理的手法。这也正是促进其诗歌创新的内在动力,从而为宋诗面貌的形成铺平了道路。

Mei Yaochen was the ancestor of Song Dynasty poetry.Both poetry style,subject matter and poetics theory are unique,which creates the style of Song poetry which is different from Tang poetry.His poetry also has a unique expression of emotion:in lyric way,either by narration,or by chanting things,or by writing scenery,soothing thick and light,various techniques,ordinary but sincere.In lyric characteristics,Mei poetry contains emotion in white sketch,lyric mixed with discussion,often use“dream”to lyric.The lyric techniques of Mei poetry are various and have different lyric characteristics from the previous poems:the conscious pursuit of bland,the inheritance of the tradition of“elegant and beautiful thorns”and the method of reasoning from emotion to reason.This is just the internal motive force promoting its poetry creation and paving the way for the formation of Song poetry.
