Driven by the industrial revolution, the British capitalism developed rapidly in the 19 th century, and the social outlook also changed dramatically. Women oppressed for a long time began to actively fight for more legal and reasonable rights, which promoted the development of feminism in Britain. During this period, there arose many influential writers, especially female writers in British literature whose works have still been popular among readers. This paper summarizes the commonness of some female literary works from the aspects of theme, personal emotion and rebellious spirit, so that readers can have a more comprehensive understanding of the development of British feminist literary works.
