C2+ATO signal system is creatively applied to the Pearl River Delta Intercity Railway to meet the needs of short headway,high speed and cross-line operation.By introducing the architecture of CTCS-200K plus ATO on-board system,the role of each module and the new functions of the ATO are described in detail.In the end,the characteristics of CTCS-200K+ATO on-board system are summed up.
