The Practice and Exploration of Integrating British and American Literature into College English Teaching

大学英语教学作为高校哲学社会科学的一个重要分支,承担着艰巨的育人任务。为提高大学英语教学效果,尝试把英美文学融入到大学英语教学中,挖掘教材中的文学因子,将经典英美文学作品的解读引入到第二课堂活动中及开设选修课,这些教学方法能激发学生学习英语的兴趣,从丰富多彩的文学作品中,学生能受到启发,形成正确的人生观和世界观。

As an important branch of philosophy and social science in college and university, College English teaching undertakes the arduous task of educating people. To improve the efficiency of College English teaching, this paper tries to integrate English and American literature into teaching by hunting for the literary factors in the textbooks, introducing the interpretation of classic English and American literature into the second-classroom activities as well as offering selective courses, which can stimulate students’ interest in learning English and enlighten them to form a correct outlook on life and world from the rich literary works.
