多发性硬化中医药研究概况

Research Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Multiple Sclerosis

多发性硬化是一种以中枢神经系统白质炎性脱髓鞘为主要表现的自身免疫性疾病。病因至今仍不明确,临床表现复杂多样,症状经治疗缓解后容易复发,常常呈缓解复发交替的现象。在现代医学中,激素及免疫抑制剂常常被用来治疗该病,但随着病程进展,复发次数增多,药物疗效减弱而副作用却渐渐增多。近年来,随着中医学者对多发性硬化的认识加深,开始运用中医药治疗多发性硬化,中医药在治疗中的优势渐渐体现出来,特别是在改善患者运动、感觉异常等神经系统表现有显著疗效。该文现就多发性硬化的中医病名、病因病机、辨证分型、中医方药治疗等方面进行综述。

Multiple sclerosis(MS)is an autoimmune disease mainly manifested by white matter inflammatory demyelination of the central nervous system.The etiology is still unclear,and the clinical manifestations are complex and varied.The symptoms are easy to recur after being relieved by treatment,and often present the phenomenon of relieving recurrence alternately.In modern medicine,hormones and immuno suppressants are often used to treat the disease,but as the disease progresses,the frequency of relapse increases,and the effectiveness of drugs decreases while side effects increase.In recent years,with the deepening understanding of MS,scholars of tradition Chinese medicine(TCM)began to use TCM to treat MS,and the advantages of TCM in the treatment gradually showed up,especially in improving patients’nervous system performance such as movement and paresthesia.This article reviews the name of TCM disease,etiology,pathogenesis,dialectical classification and TCM treatment of MS.
