医学院校本科阶段学术英语(EAP)课程需求分析 被引量:1

Analysis of the Undergraduates’ Needs for EAP in Medical Colleges and Universities

摘要 在教育部、财政部、国家发改委三部委号召加快高校“双一流”建设及加大本科教学改革力度的背景下,笔者对南京医科大学300多名已经通过大学英语六级考试的本科二年级学生、50多名医学院校大学英语教师以及南医大某附属医院40多名在职医师进行了本科阶段学术英语学习的需求调查。问卷和访谈发现:1.医学院校学生对学术英语学习需求较为迫切;2.医学院校师生对自身(或所教学生)学术英语技能现状感到不满;3.目前医学院校本科一、二年级英语课程设置及教学内容与高年级医学英语课程衔接不够且不利于提升学生的英语学习动力。在调查结果的基础上,文章提出了几点建议。 Under the background that the Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission call for speeding up the construction of“two-class”universities and intensifying the reform of undergraduate teaching,the author has studied more than 300 second-year undergraduates who have passed CET-6 in Nanjing Medical University,more than 50 college English teachers in medical colleges on the needs of EAP among the undergraduates.Meanwhile,more than 40 in-service doctors in some affiliates hospitals of Nanjing Medical University attended the survey as well.According to the Questionnaires and interviews,we found that:1.Medical college students have an urgent need for academic English learning;2.Medical college teachers and students are dissatisfied with the status of their academic English skills(or the students they teach);3.Currently,the English curriculum of the first and second grade in medical colleges and universities does not closely connect with the senior medical English curriculum.To promote students’motivation in English learning,the article puts forward some suggestions on the basis of the survey results.
