The improvement and stability of basic economic institutions are of great significance to the essence of a country’s economic system and its way of economic development.Our country’s basic economic institutions in the new era comprise the model of public ownership playing a dominant role and economic entities under diverse forms of ownership developing side by side,the model of distribution according to labor being dominant and a variety of other modes of distribution existing alongside,and the socialist system of market economy constructed on these two bases.These three elements compose the new contents of our country’s basic economic institutions.Economic governance is the epitome of state governance system and governance capacity.In the new era,the persistence to and improvement of the basic economic institutions are of great significance to convert the institutional advantages of our country into state governance effectiveness,and to promote the modernization of state governance system and governance capacity.
