Progress on Laboratory Diagnosis Technology for Streptococcus suis

猪链球菌能感染人和动物,引起仔猪的败血症、脑膜炎、关节炎、心内膜炎等;感染人,引起人的死亡。因此,对猪链球菌进行快速、特异性检测,具有重要的流行病学意义和临床应用价值。对猪链球菌的血清学、分子生物学和高通量等检测技术研究进展进行了阐述,以期为检测猪链球菌提供参考。

Streptococcus suis is an important zoonotic pathogen that seriously harms the development of pig industry in China.It can cause meningitis,sepsis,endocarditis,arthritis and pneumon-ia in piglets.One can also infect humans and cause death.Therefore,rapid and specific detection of Streptococcus suis has important epidemiological significance and clinical application value.In this paper,the research progress of serological,molecular biological and high-throughput detection techniques for Streptococcus suis were described so as to provide reference for the detection of Streptococcus suis.
