摘要
《爱》这部小说是莫里森创作史上重大的转折点,实现了由描述白人主流文化主导下黑人生存现状到剖析黑人内部存在问题的质的飞跃。托尼·莫里森使用魔幻现实主义,通过对《爱》这部小说的魔幻现实主义刻画、魔幻的叙事方式、写作技巧进行分析,从而得出结论:在美国主流社会文化的侵蚀下,黑人自我身份认同缺失、自身存在弱点,然而面对现实他们却无能为力,只能寄希望于魔幻来实现其梦想;从中探索出拯救黑人的唯一出路。
Love is considered the turning point of Toni Morrison’s literary creation,realizing a qualitative leap,by using magic realism,from depicting the Afro-American’s current living situation dominated by white mainstream culture to analyzing the inner issues of the black people.This paper makes an analysis of the portrayal of magical realism,the magical narrative method and the writing skills.The conclusion can be drawn like the following:under the erosion of mainstream social culture in America,Afro-Americans lack self-identity and have an inherent weakness,because they they have no choice but to fulfill their dreams by magic,pursuing the only way to save Afro-Americans’destinies in the white dominating society.
