Objective To observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on postoperative pain and wound healing in patients undergoing anorectal surgery. Methods 90 patients who underwent anorectal surgery in our hospital from January 2016 to June 2019 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with potassium permanganate fumigation. The observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing. The postoperative pain score, anal bulge score, wound healing time, hospitalization time, and blood loss time were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative anal pain score(2.14±0.26)and anal bulge score(0.76±0.23)were lower than those of the control group(4.61±0.44)and(1.79±0.48),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the observation group wound healing time(11.22±2.55)d,hospitalization time(16.52±3.15)d,blood loss of stool(7.83±2.12)d were shorter than the control group(16.77±4.62)d,(22.81±4.69 d,(9.55±2.58)d,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can promote wound healing after anorectal surgery, reduce pain, speed up the healing process, shorten the length of hospital stay and wound healing time, and have good clinical application value.
