As an important link in automobile manufacturing and production,chassis design quality is directly related to the ride comfort and safety of the vehicle.At present,parametric technology is the key factor affecting the design quality of automobile chassis.On the basis of expounding the support and train of thought of parametric design of automobile chassis,this paper analyzes the process of realizing parametric layout,and points out the key points of the construction of parametric design database.It is expected to improve the application level of parametric technology,and then promote the orderly development of automobile manufacturing industry while ensuring the design quality of automobile chassis.
