职业教育是国民教育体系和人力资源开发的重要组成部分。近年来,我国职业教育发展取得令人瞩目的成就,下一步发展既面临重要战略机遇,也面临诸多严峻挑战。推进职业教育领域供给侧结构性改革,是进一步完善我国国民教育体系、推动"大众创业、万众创新"、实现经济结构转型升级、建设包容性经济的重要举措。要通过加快推进基础体系、办学体制、教育教学管理、联动机制等方面改革,实现职业教育发展新跨越。

Vocational education is a significant part of both the National Educational System and the human resource development. In recent years, China has gained remarkable progress in vocational education. Further development in this area would be faced with strategic opportunities as well as numerous serious challenges. Promoting supply-side structural reform in vocational education contributes greatly to the further improvement of the national educational system, the enhancement of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, the transformation and upgrading of the economic structure, as well as the construction of an inclusive economic system. To make new progress in vocational education, the innovation in the fundamental system, the school-running system, the educational teaching management as well as the linkage mechanism ought to be accelerated.
