Discussion on Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities under the Perspective of “Six Requirements”

习近平总书记对学校思想政治教育者提出的"六要"要求,为提升高校思想政治教育实效性与针对性、实现教育人文关怀、弥补显性政治教育的不足,提供了新视角、新契机和新途径。高校思想政治教育者应在立德树人根本任务引领下,按照"六要"要求,以增强政治情怀为内在动力,以提升理论素养为重要支撑,以锻造人格品性为坚实基础,从转变教育理念、提升文化自觉自信、增强理论运用能力等三个方面协同发力,全面提升思想政治教育的能力及水平,不断增强高校思想政治教育的感染力与亲和力,有效地引导大学生始终坚定理想信念,坚定"四个自信",努力成为社会主义的合格建设者和可靠接班人。

Recently, general secretary Xi Jinping has put forward the "six requirements" for ideological and political educators in schools. This provides a new perspective, new opportunity and new approach for improving the effectiveness and pertinence of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, realizing humanistic care in education, and making up for the deficiency of explicit political education. In the new era, under the fundamental task of fostering morality and cultivating students,ideological and political educators should follow the "six requirements", enhancing political feelings as the inner motivation, improving theoretical literacy as an important support, and forging the personality as a solid foundation. By transforming educational concepts, enhancing cultural self-confidence and improving the ability to apply theories, educators will comprehensively strengthen the ability and level of ideological and political education, and continuously enhance its charm and attraction. It will powerfully and effectively guide students to strive to become qualified socialist builders and reliable successors with firm faith and "four confidence".
