汉魏六朝,游宴兴起,宴饮的发展和繁盛,促进了宴饮文学的发展,尤其是形式短小、富有韵律和气势的宴饮诗歌和赋这两种文体,不仅创作数量迅速增多,创作质量和水准也得到了很大提高,两者形成了良性的互动:宴饮的发展,产生了专门的公宴诗,丰富了诗赋的表现内容和形式,带动了席间高雅艺术的发展;宴饮诗赋烘托了席间氛围,反映了当时的宴饮习俗和社会风气,体现了组织者的审美倾向。
