从张培之的英译本《背影》谈英汉两种语言异同

On the Similarities and Differences between English and Chinese from Zhang Peizhi’s English Translation of The Sight of Father’s Back

语言属于文化的载体,在社会发展和改革过程中,英汉两种语言形成了各自的语言习惯及特点,其中有交融,也有矛盾。在实现两种语言相互转变的过程中,要能够满足各自语种表达习惯及行文特点需求。基于此,以张培之的《背影》英译本为例,对英汉两种语言的动态和静态的处理、连接词衔接关系转化和翻译处理、英汉互译策略等进行全面的分析。

Language belongs to the carrier of culture.In the process of social development and reform,English and Chinese have formed their own language habits and characteristics,including blending and contradiction.In the process of realizing the mutual transformation of the two kinds of languages,it is necessary to meet the needs of the expression habits and writing characteristics of the respective language.Based on this,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis on the processes of dynamic and static states of the two languages,transformation of conjunctions cohesive relations,English-Chinese translations,etc.by taking Zhang Peizhi's English translation of The Sight of Father's Back as an example.
