“大学英文经典原著导读”在线精品课程教学实践探索

New Breath for Reading in the E-Era:An Exploration of Teaching Excellent Online Course “A Guide for Reading English Classics”

"大学英文经典原著导读"是在整合湖南科技大学"英美文学与文化创新团队"科研力量与科研成果的基础上,由外国语学院打造的一门面向大学本科生的人文教育通识课程,于2019年8月被湖南省教育厅认定为省级精品在线开放课程。立足湖南科技大学"英美文学与文化创新团队"的科研积累,结合当前大学生的文学阅读现状,探讨"大学英文经典原著导读"课程以"创新、合作"为关键词打通科研与本科课堂教学、英专与非英专的界限,由浅"延"深地引导学生阅读英文经典。该课程旨在既帮助学生提升英语语言运用能力,又感受英语语言的温度与文化生命,试图构建一种E时代阅读新呼吸体系,以实际行动践行《教育信息化2.0行动计划》。

"A Guide for Reading English Classics"is a general course of humanities education for undergraduates. As a product of "British and American Literature and Culture Innovation Team of HNUST",it was approved as provincial excellent online open course by Hunan Provincial Education Department in August2019. Based on the current situation of college students’ literary reading,this paper,themed with the key words of "innovation and cooperation"in the course "A Guide for Reading English Classics",aims to bridge the gap between scientific research and undergraduates teaching and between English majors and non-English majors. To guide students to read English classics from easiness to profoundness can help them improve their ability to use English language and feel the cultural life of English language. What’s more,this paper attempts to construct a new breath for reading in the E-era,and to implement the 2.0 Action Plan of Education Information with practical actions.
