论一流大学的一流意蕴

On “First-class” Connotation of First-class Universities

从世界一流大学的历史发展来看,她是在理想与现实的博弈中形成的,理想起着先行作用,最后形成为现实的状态。世界一流大学的意蕴需要一流的理想、理念、学者、教学和科研,一流的理想即大学追求的是人类普遍的理智艺术和高远的学问境界,一流的理念即大学要回归大学自身看待大学观念并建构我国的一流大学理念,一流的学者即大学要聚集和培养具有理性艺术和学术热情的真正的学术型学者,一流的教学即回归大学根本重视教学传统以一流的大学教学促进一流研究,一流的科研即通过研究的原理性贡献引领世界科学潮流的发展,通过理论研究的原始创新促进民族科学高峰的攀越。最后通过上述五者勾勒世界一流大学的整体想象,为我国世界一流大学建设提供参考。

From the aspects of developing history,world-class universities are formed in the game of ideal and reality,and the ideal initially plays a leading role and finally forms a state of reality.The implication of world-class university needs first-class ideal,idea,scholars,teaching and scientific research.The first-class ideal means that the university pursues human common rational art and lofty realm of knowledge;the first-class idea means that the university wants to return to university itself to look at the idea of university and to construct national first-class university idea;the first-class scholars show the university’s ambition to gather and train a group of scholars with rational art and academic enthusiasm;the first-class teaching means to return to the essence of the university,which attaches great importance to the teaching tradition to promote first-class research;and the first-class scientific research means to contribute to the development of the century and promote the national scientific innovation.With the outline of the above mentioned five aspects of first-class universities,this paper provides reference for our country to construct world-class universities.
