科学史的假设研究是不可或缺的理性方法,凡建立在理性批判、逻辑推断与历史语境基底上的科学史假设,就具有科学史研究的合理性与创新性,应在科学史的研究中认可并加以倡导。但是科学史的假设不是随意的臆断与假说,而是建立在语境与逻辑基底上的创造性、综合性思维体现,从而科学史的假设研究不仅有利于反思科学史自身研究的不足,克服"武断"结论的形成,而且有利于创新理性逻辑思维方法,为创新科学史研究风格注入活力。
