造纸类专业双语教学模式实践与探索——以高职院校“制浆造纸概论”课程为例 被引量:6

摘要 造纸行业本身具有较强的国际交流特性,是否具备优良的英语水平越来越成为考量造纸业专业人才未来发展潜力的必要条件。我国高校造纸类专业英语教学普遍存在的问题主要有:对制浆造纸专业英语缺乏必要的重视程度、教材存在混用、滞后现象、缺乏双师型人才等。在对我国造纸相关高校或专业双语教学的现状研究的基础上,分析了制浆造纸专业实施双语教学的必要性,并对造纸相关专业双语教学模式的改革和实践进行了探讨。认为双语教学能够帮助造纸专业学生拓宽知识获取渠道、掌握最新造纸业知识技能、提升就业竞争力等。 Paper industry itself has strong international exchange characteristics,and whether it has good English proficiency has become a necessary condition to consider the future development potential of paper industry professionals.There are some common problems in the teaching of English for pulp and paper majors in colleges and universities in China:1)the lack of necessary attention to English for pulp and paper majors;2)the mixing and lagging of textbooks;and 3)the lack of double-qualified personnel.Firstly,the necessity of bilingual teaching for pulp and paper majors was analyzed.Secondly,the current situation of bilingual teaching for pulp and paper majors in China was analyzed.Thirdly,the reform and practice of bilingual teaching mode for pulp and paper majors were discussed.It is believed that bilingual teaching can help students of paper industry broaden their knowledge acquisition channels,master the latest knowledge and skills of paper industry,and enhance their employment competitiveness.The results can be used for reference in bilingual teaching courses of papermaking and related colleges.
