A Comparative Study of Two Recensions of Radical "阜" in Origin of Chinese Characters

《说文解字》是中国第一部系统地分析汉字字形和考究字源的字书,在中国文字学发展史上占有非常重要的地位。以阜部字为研究对象,通过穷尽式的研究方法比较分析,找出异同,并分析小徐本阜部字的按语,以期为大小徐本比较研究提供参考。

Origin of Chinese Characters is the first dictionary to systematically analyze the form and source of Chinese characters. It occupies a very important position in the history of Chinese philology. This paper, taking "radical "阜" as the research object, compares two recensions by Xu Xuan and Xu Kai and analyzes their notes on the radical, hoping to provide reference for the comparative research on the two recensions.
