Western films have a long history of using traditional Chinese architectural elements,which are also closely related to the animated films of Chinese themes filmed in the West.The Chinese urban space and architectural scenes in those films directly show the style and features of Chinese classical cities and buildings.This paper studies and analyzes the artistic reproduction of Chinese traditional architectural elements in western animated films.With the passage of time,the progress of technology,the rise of China's comprehensive national strength and the development of traditional Chinese architectural culture,the application of Chinese traditional architectural elements in western animated films has also undergone a transformation from shallow to fine,which highlights the charm of Chinese traditional architectural culture.
