技术创新对经济增长质量的驱动作用研究——以粤港澳大湾区为例

A Research on the Driving Role of Technological Innovation on the Growth of Economy: Taking Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as an Example

综合五大发展理念与粤港澳大湾区战略定位,建立经济增长质量的多维度衡量指标体系,并予以量化,进而基于该区域2007-2017年面板数据,使用系统GMM与面板门槛模型就技术创新对经济增长质量的驱动作用进行实证检验。结果表明:第一,粤港澳大湾区的经济增长质量总体呈现上升趋势,香港、深圳和广州是推动其上升的主要城市。第二,技术创新对粤港澳大湾区经济增长质量的驱动作用明显,但分维度检验时发现,对绿色生态维度的提升不显著;分地区检验结果表明驱动作用具有地区异质性,在经济增长质量水平高的区域驱动作用明显更强。第三,技术创新对经济增长质量的驱动作用存在双重门槛效应,且驱动作用随着门槛的递进而增强。对此,粤港澳大湾区要优化区域创新环境,加快区域创新融合与技术流动,加强技术创新的绿色偏向,从而保持经济增长的"质量"优势。

Based on Five Development Concept and the strategic positioning of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,this paper establishes a multi-dimensional index system to measure the quality of economic growth in the Greater Bay Area,and quantifies it.Then,based on the panel data from 2007 to 2017,the paper uses system GMM and panel threshold model to test the driving effect of technological innovation on the quality of economic growth in the Greater Bay Area.The results show that:(1)the overall quality of economic growth in the Greater Bay Area shows an upward trend,with Hong Kong,Shenzhen and Guangzhou as the main driving cities;(2)the driving effect of technological innovation on the quality of economic growth in the Greater Bay Area is obvious,but the sub-dimension test finds that the promotion of green ecological dimension is not significant,and the sub-regional test results show that the driving force is obviously stronger in regions with higher quality of economic growth;(3)the driving effect of technological innovation on the quality of economic growth has a double threshold effect,and the driving effect will be strengthened with the gradual increase of the threshold.So the Greater Bay Area should optimize the regional innovation environment,accelerate the integration of regional innovation and technology flow,and strengthen the green tendency of technological innovation so as to maintain the"quality"advantage of economic growth.
